ST. ANTHONY COPTIC ORTHODOX CHURCH NEWS:

• Church Picnic on October 4, 2008: Families and Youth enjoyed this annual traditional picnic, the weather was great, food was delicious, and every one had great time doing different fun activities.

• The 3RD Annual Egyptian - Coptic Festival: was held on September 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2008.   Festival was a Great Success as a fundraising event for our church in spite of the rainy weather.

• Family Retreat May 24th-26th, 2008: Sponsored by St. George's Church of Greater Philadelphia.  The annual retreat was at the Sandy Cove Ministries & Conference Center, in North East, MD on the Chesapeake Bay. Families enjoyed the different activities available, as well as a great series of lectures by FR. Armia Boulos.

• The Church's sixth Annual Easter Fundraising Banquet: was held on May 18th, 2008.  This year it was at the Mansion on Main St, in Voorhees, NJ.

• H. H. POPE SHENOUDA III VISIT TO OUR CHURCH:
  H. H. Pope Shenouda III visited our church on Sunday 01/27/2008 and consecrated the new building of St. Anthony Church in Medford, NJ.  An overwhilming number of the church congregation and visitors from near-by churches attended the consecration
