The School is established under direction and supervision of our beloved father Abouna Rafail. The School's mission is to teach the Coptic Hymns, language, and heritage to our boys and girls in grades K-12. Coptic Hymns and language are main foundations of the liturgical worship in our Coptic Church.
Through learning the Coptic Hymns, our children will grow deeper in spirituality and love to our Lord Jesus Christ. The goal is to help the youth become stronger members of the Coptic Church, and be prepared to carry on its rich traditions.
St. Stephen School meets every Friday from 7:15pm to 8:00pm. The school has rules, exams, points and gifts for the children according to their behavior and attendance, in addition to end of year rewards.
Each student receives a folder with written Hymns and audio CD. Snacks and drinks are available for the children following classes.
Graduation Ceremony is held upon graduation at the end of the year program, and students will receive Graduation Certificates.
